Welcome to Sevenmile Building Co. I'm Derek Hinckley and I've been remodeling and building homes for the past nine years. I've been a residential contractor for the past three years and last summer my young family and I moved from Knoxville to Mount Juliet, TN just east of Nashville. My wife Christina and I have two boys, Dawson and Carter, who are 4 & 1 years old. I am a musician from a very musical family and I've been writing for about ten years now. I take the same pride in building as I do in creating my music. I've done ground-up construction, total tear-out remodels & lots in between.
I don't specialize in everything like alot of "handyman" companies profess. I do the things I do because I like them and do them well. Although I've done new construction in the past, I "specialize" in home additions, home layout and design, covered porches & decks, and other carpentry based projects such as sheds and purgolas. I can also take care of your tile projects, laminate and hardwood flooring, and even smaller jobs.
